Flora’s Workshop-Bend

Flora’s workshop is a two day training workshop designed to teach behavioral, basic handling, crate games, sit, stays, leash work, trick training and different techniques in getting a happy, engaged, focused and motivated partner in your dog. The goal is to connect you with your dog. Learn to read dog behavior, your own body language as well as your dogs.

This is an all-breed workshop

Don’t have a dog to bring? That’s ok! You can audit or use one of our HUNAH pack dogs each day.

You will also meet the balanced pack of HUNAH dogs.

While this workshop targets dog behavior, we will also include some beginning/basic agility. There may be some exercises that involve a minimal amount of equipment (hoops, buckets, jumps, various obstacles and tunnels), but most exercises are designed with just the handler and their dog. The workshop is about motivation, relationship, and dealing with every day handling, obedience, training and how we have become disconnected from our dogs. This is the time to re-connect!

I recognize that every dog is an individual and there is not one answer that fits all dogs. We will present different ideas and games for a wide variety of dogs and personalities. My hope is to give each person long term strategies to continue to build on what we present in each session. I want both dogs and handlers to feel safe and successful – by creating small groups of ten teams, it allows us to design sessions where the dogs don’t get overwhelmed or overworked. Our goal for camp is for everyone to have a good time with their dog – learn pack behavior, strategies for every situation and have a fun time with their dog.

(NO aggressive dogs please) If you have a dog that is needing help, private lessons are available at a different time. This camp is open to ALL breeds! I do specialize in herding breeds, however these techniques would apply to any dog.

Cost is 200.00 per dog for the two day workshop

To audit and/or use a Hunah dog it’s 100.00 for the 2 days

50% is due 1 week before the first day of camp the remainder is due when you arrive
